Here is a message from Joey Prusak: I am extremely proud to announce that in 2014 I will be teaming up with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Joey Logano and his foundation. I just wanted to take the time to explain how this all came about. Many of you have already read my blog post about my trip down in Daytona, for those of you who haven’t here is the post: “February 21st - Today was by far the best day of the entire trip... I headed to the track with my brother to do an interview with Claire B Lang on NASCAR's SiriusXM Radio show. When I went in to do the interview I was sitting in a little room with Claire and Max, she told us, "wait right here and I'll be right back." I looked at Max and shrugged, little did I know she wouldn't be coming back alone. The door swung open and it wasn't Claire standing in the doorway, it was my favorite driver, Joey Logano. Now I am normally not one to get star struck and freeze up... but Joey is someone who I have been a fan of since I was like 10... 10 years now I have been cheering for him. So of course he walks in and I freeze. I don't say a word... I just stare. Pretty soon I snap out of it and realize that Joey and Claire are speaking to me and attempting to do the interview. I'm guessing it sounded pretty bad when I had no response to their questions. Claire gave me the opportunity to ask Joey a couple questions, I asked him if he wanted to come driver my car and I also asked him about getting sponsors. He basically just told me you must be yourself and you must win races. After the interview was done Joey snuck my brother and I into the garage area. AMAZING... He then asked us if we wanted to go in and check out the team hauler. It was so big and so nice. As Claire said in the interview Joey Logano is one of the nicest drivers in NASCAR and after what he did for me I would 100% agree with that. I even think my brother, who is a Jimmie Johnson fan, would agree with that. Thank you Joey Logano.” The story doesn’t stop there though, I refrained from sharing some other information because I wasn’t sure if it was going to pan out. After I got home that night from DIS I tweeted Joey Logano… I didn’t actually expect to get a response out of him because the Daytona 500 was in like 2 days, and I was pretty sure he was busy. I was wrong though; this was another key reason on why Joey Logano is one of the nicest drivers in ALL of NASCAR. I woke up Saturday morning to find that I had received a direct message on Twitter from Joey. Follow me on Twitter @JoeyPrusak
